Cumbria Woodlands is working hard to secure the future of Cumbria's woodlands and to help keep woodland skills & crafts very much alive.
The courses range from technical vocational to craft and green wood courses and are suitable for all levels of competency.
There are no chainsaw courses planned for this programme. However, we do hope to arrange more in the future, subject to funding status. In the meantime you may like to consider a course at Newton Rigg. Tel: 0845 850 0744 for details.
You may also be interested in Weekend in the Woods - Sat 16th and Sun 17th August 2008, organised by the Coppice Association North West. A variety of courses are planned for both beginners and improvers. Learn how to make hazel hurdles and panels, longbows, charcoal, wooden spoons, stick chairs, wood sculptures or willow structures. £80 per course. Contact Cumbria Woodlands for a booking form. |

All the courses are based in Cumbria. The tutors are all recognised as expert trainers in their fields.
