Introduction to Woodland Management - Beacon Fell, nr Preston

This course is for novice woodland owners looking to manage their woodlands, and will cover the basic principles of woodland management. This will include a look at some simple silvicultural management systems, felling & re-stocking, species choice, growing trees for timber and woodfuel and woodland biodiversity basics, and the principles of a management plan.
