The day will include an introduction to community Woodfuel.
There will be tree felling and cross cutting on site with stacking of timber for Woodfuel, lead by Jamie Chaplin-Brice of Cumbria Woodlands and Martin Wain of Butterfly Conservation.
This day will demonstrate the work achievable as a group and how being part of a community scheme can bring benefit to the woodland and to members.
Some of the woodfuel collected from the site will be available for use by groupmembers at a later date.
The event will run from 10:30am - 3:30pm; pop along at any time.
Cost: FREE
