5 days of inspiring traditional woodland craft training taught by experienced professional craft tutors held in a beautiful Cumbrian woodland
The Woodland Pioneers course is open to anyone interested in learning about coppicing. For those wishing to apply for the BHMAT apprenticeship training it is essential that you attend the full course.
A ‘certificate of attainment’ will be available on request for those who have completed a Woodland Pioneers week (cost £25).
Woodland Pioneers programme:
For those new to Woodland Pioneers, from Monday to Thursday there will be four one-day introductory woodcraft workshops. You will be assigned a group and stay with them as you undertake a new skill each day. The evenings are normally busy with talks, presentations, quizzes and a barbeque night. Music usually features at some point so bring your instruments!
