Rusland Horizons' Heritage Skills Training Programme, October 2016-August 2017 

Cumbria Woodlands are working with Rusland Horizons to organise 18 heritage skills training courses over the next year. The Rusland Horizons project is supported by the Heritage Lottery and the Lake District National Park. The range of courses includes: greenwood skills, bench and gate making, besom, hazel hurdle and swill basket making, coppice and tree identification, spinning and felting, dry stone walling, spoon and bowl carving, oak bark peeling, chair and charcoal making!
