Woodland Owners and Managers, Can You Help?

Can you help?

The Cumbria Local Nature Partnership wants to better understand what support farmers and other land managers in Cumbria would like to help them deliver ‘Nature Recovery’, whilst also maintaining financially sustainable businesses. They will use the information to identify more effective ways to provide advice and training to enable people/businesses to find the opportunities for, and ways to deliver, great environmental benefits and access the funding this can bring.

Please help by completing the SURVEY - https://www.cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk/CLNP-skills-survey

"Farmers and the wider land management community are, and have the potential, to make significant contributions to nature recovery and the provision of nature-based solutions to help address climate change, flooding and water quality while still producing safe, quality food. We also know that future financing is changing and uncertain, and that while helping secure increased environmental/nature benefits businesses need to operate with a healthy ‘bottom line’."

"Working with our partners including the Farmers Network, the Rivers Trusts, NFU, RSPB, the National Parks and others we are going to use the information gathered in the questionnaire to identify how we can provide better and more integrated nature recovery/environmental advice/support using the skills, knowledge and experience which sits within both these organisations and in the farming/land management community."

The questionnaire should only take 20-30 mins.
