Brand new module for Ancient Woodland Restoration course

We are delighted to announce that Version 2 of our Ancient Woodland Restoration course is now live and ready for you to enrol online, for free.

Over 400 learners have now benefitted from our Ancient Woodland Restoration course on Canopy Learning and is now updated with an additional module - Halting Further Decline.

Alongside the Woodland Trust, we created a resource that educates, informs and inspires a passion for managing and protecting our ancient woodlands.

What’s new in Version 2?

This course now contains a new module: Module 3: Halting Further Decline, which will guide you through those first-steps of urgent care management of important ancient woodland features in critical condition. The module will describe the urgent care process, explore site-based considerations and how these affect decision making, and illustrate a variety of management approaches and options available to ensure critical remnant features (those features that remain of the ancient woodland) are protected.
